Relief moulding esp. for picture frames of plastic-covered wood - have their wooden cores kept to rectilinear profiles

Ornamental mouldings, esp. picture frames, comprise a wooden core of rectilinear cross-section covered by a plastic material on which the 3-dimensional ornamental design is imprinted. The core may have a plane upper surface, or one which (within rectilinear profile) more closely approximates to the finished plastic surface. The plastic is pref. polyurethane foam. A wood moulding machine is not required.
