Labeller for retail textile garments - has stapling and printing heads to simultaneously attach and mark labels

The apparatus has a base arm (1) about which another arm (2) is articulated. The top arm holds a magazine of staples (11), held down by a spring (12) and fed towards the stapling head (13) by another spring (14). The top arm also carries a printing head (6) together with an ink roller (22) held in-between two flanks (20), the ink roller being attached to a spring plate (23). The garment and label are placed between the two arms and as the top arm is forced downwards a pressure plate (15) drives a staple onto an anvil (16) and the printing head hits against a counter plate (17) thus simultaneously attaching and marking the label.
