Seamless tights mfr. - using continuous sequence to form garment sections on a circular knitter

The mfr. of seamless stocking tights starts with one leg of the garment, using all the needles from the toe until reaching the end of the thigh zone. In =1 row, a specific number of needles are placed in the inactive mode during the stages of forming the garment, without reducing the number of stitches, so that they are available to develop other stitches. The active needles form the first section of the first leg extension with uninterrupted rows, while each selected gp. of rows are on one or the other side of the active needles and =1 of the inactive needles are activated to hold stitches at their butts. The uninterrupted rows at the end of the first garment section are removed from the active needles. The freed needles are then used to form the next section of the garment with uninterrupted rows while the inactive needles are brought in successively to form uninterrupted rows between the sections. When the second section is complete, all the inactive needles are reactivated so that the second leg is produced using all the needles in the cylinder until reaching the toe.
