The passage for a rectangular-sectioned pipe through roofing comprises a surrounding frame, engaging the roofing via a flange lying in the roof surface, and a frame -type covering enclosure lying on the frame, with vertical side cheeks, on the shank at right angles to the eave serving to fit against the outside of the pipe. There is an interval between the shanks (2') of the enclosure (2) running parallel to the eave, and the outside (4") of the pipe, spanned by a sealing shaped-section unit (8) extending between the side cheeks (5). The fixture shank (10) of this is connected to the enclosure's shank, with its sealing piece (11) fitting against the pipe outside and overlapped with a form-locking effect by a covering batten (9) fixed in place there.
