If for a technical or organisational reason the block 8 is not ready to receive information or a transmission device 5, between unit 4 and block 8 is not available, the control unit 4 can cause a registration of data on a machine-readable data carrier 15. Programme modification can be effected through a data terminal 2 and, in on line operation, complete or partial data can be transmitted to a further processing unit 12.
