PURPOSE:To provide the subject method comprising the steps of providing microcomputers in a blast furnace to meet the occurrence of any abnormal matter at the time the blast furnace is in operation, and actuating various kinds of valves for the restoration of the furnace to the original state under instruction from the computer at the time any trouble occurs, thereby to automatically restore the furnace to normal conditions.
