Mould consists of side plates and a bottom plate, such that each side plate can have two working surfaces for adjacent moulds and side plater and bottom plater are separately interchangeable between adjacent locations. The bottom plate is made of a material having elastic properties and is rectangular or of trapezoidal cross section, with the non-parallel sides forming similar imaginary isosceles triangles with the parallel sides as bases. The bottom plate has along its longitudinal axis, a continuous vertical slot open to the upper surface wide enough to pass transverse steel plates. The slot has closure lips whose sepn. is less than the average width of the slot so that with the elastic properties of the material the lips can be flexed away while a steel piece is inserted, yet close onto it, or against each other to form a seal. Used for mfr. of concrete beams, lintels etc.
