Apparatus for separating a cloth web, produced in a double plush weaving machine, into two pile cloth webs. Cutters move transversely of the cloth web in adaptation to the beating strokes of the reed of the weaving machine, with the cutters being arranged at fixed distances from one another on an endless holder running over non-displaceably mounted lateral reversing rollers.
