Axial connector for reinforced concrete piles - has screwed connection sleeves on longitudinal reinforcing bar ends in piles

The axial connector is used for two foundation piles or ground anchors made from reinforced concree. The foundation piles have a flat or frame shaped head. The longitudinal reinforcement rods pass through this head and the rod ends have a screw thread. Sleeves are screwed on these ends. The foundation piles are made by using this feature in a simple and reliable manner and no moment occur in the connections under the loads. Each longitudinal reinforcement bar (4) has a screw sleeve provided with a pin (9, 10). The pins of two aligned longitudinal reinforcing rods are connected by a connector (12) on the facing heads of both foundation piles (1).
