Hydroponic plant growing system - immerses trays with permeable bottoms in reservoirs periodically

The system grows plants in liq. irrigated trays, the plants being placed without substratum in trays whose bottoms are permeable to liq. The necessary feeding liq. (8) is delivered into complementary reservoirs (10) open at the top, and trays (5) and reservoirs are fitted together in pairs. Each tray, loaded with plants, is periodically immersed in the reservoir and then withdrawn. A mechanism can be provided to effect this action, and the tray bottoms can be perforated, or in strainer form. The dimensions of the reservoirs can be sufficiently those of the trays to allow proper immersion of the latter.
