Structure for the support and processing or growth of horticultural products comprises at least one rigid holder (1) with a parallel piped shape provided with a perforated bottom (2) and side walls (3), made pref. of a synthetic material. A component (5) is also provided which fits inside the holder, and at least partly cuts off the perforations. This inner fitting component (5) comprises a strip which, over at least a part of the height of the side walls, covers the perforations. It is mainly plate-shaped and covers the entire bottom of the holder. It is virtually a trough (5) in overall shape, the base of which coincides with the bottom of the holder, and its height is equal to a part of the height of the side walls.
