Harvested potato sorter system - has photoelectric system to activate ejector arm and plate above endless belt conveyor

The harvested potatoes fall freely through a light barrier which operates with a radiation between red and infrared. The barrier's pencil of rays is focussed in the area where the potatoes drop down. A feed mechanism brings the potatoes separately for sorting into bad and good potatoes. The good and bad potatoes are separated after passing through the light barrier, by means of an ejector arm and plate. Underneath the ejector arm is a conveyor belt for removing the sorted potatoes.
