The facing slab has profiled opposed edges allowing adjacent rows to be interfitted. The slab is in the form of a hexagon defined by two isosceles trapezia whose larger base are adjacent. The small bases of the trapezia correspond in length to the line of complementarity of the slab. The distance between the two small bases is equal to the slab length or a multiple of this. The slab may consist of pairs of panels, one being half as long again as the other. These panels are scored on their outer faces to form false joints.
