METHOD FOR MAKING A GRAMOPHONE RECORD AND RECORD OBTAINED WITH SAID METHOD

The process is for producing a record with a central label in a press. It uses a mould constructed by a galvanic metal deposition on a non-conductive support. The latter is previously engraved with a spiral track and the musical recording track is cut in the surface of the mould element. There is a central depression in the non-conductive support, before the deposition of the mould, which is used to stamp one face of the required record. The central depression formed in the non-conductive support is provided by a photosensitive layer, subsequently exposed to a film carrying the required text, used as a mask for engraving the text in the surface of the support. The impression is thus transferred to the mould and then to the record.
