The large greenhouse consists of bars which form a support frame over which a foil width is stretched. The bar elements consist of straight steel rods whose length exceeds the width of the conventional foil width by a given amount. The rods consist of a steel of high strength and elastic flexibility. Round bars or flat bars can be used as the bar elements but in either case, they carry flange-type support rings at a distance from their ends.
