The alphaketo analogues of lysine, threonine and arginine and the amino acids L-tryptophan, L- threonine, L-lysine, and L-histidine or L- arginine may also be present. The keto acids may be in the form of their sodium or calcium salts and the compositions may be in forms suitable for oral and parenteral administration.
