ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSUREThe present invention relates to a method of manufac-turing two discrete sheets of single wall corrugated paperboardin overlying relation, which includes the steps of providing afirst single face web for forming one of said sheets of singlewall paperboard, providing a first double face liner for saidfirst single face web and depositing a starch adhesive on theexposed flute tips of said first single face web, and whichmethod comprises(a) providing a second single race web for forming the otherof said seets of single wall paperboard;(b) depositing a starch adhesive on the exposed flute tipsof said second single face web;(c) substantially gelatinizing the starch adhesive on theexposed flute tips of each of said first and secondsingle face webs;(d) providing a second double race liner for said secondsingle face web;(e) combining in a double facer said first single faceweb with said first double face liner and simultaneous-ly combining in overlying relationship said second singleface web with said second double face liner; and,(f) passing said combined webs and liners through said doublefacer whereby there is formed two discrete continuoussheets of single wall board each consisting of a singleface web and a double face liner.
