A method is used for reducing the signal harmonic originated error in a phase selective amplifier and demodulator system. It is typically for use in a magnetic inductive flow transducer signal processing unit. - The basic network consists of an input amplifier (1) containing a feedback loop with a multiplier (5) in the feedback circuit. A reference signal is fed to a rectifier (6) which also feeds the multiplier in the feedback loop (5) to an output integrator stage (3). The behaviour of this network is specified. Its main property is to reduce the output distortion caused by harmonics on the input signal.
