The cable has round wires or wire handles which are coated with an insulation compound and/or an adhesive and/or an anti-corrosion agent, and then with an elastomer. Specifically, the bundles of wires are wound in polyester material before they are coated with elastomer. The cables are used in hanging bridges. The elastomers is based on polyurethane, polyether and polyester, with hardening agent, additives fillers and accelerators.
