CRT display auxiliary guide line formation - uses pulse generator digital counter and comparator to create appropriate timed signal

The cathode ray tube display system is used in conjuction with rador control signals for ground control approach system in precision flight regulation techniques. It may be shown that the angle (alpha) of the screen line to the base line, the angle (beta) of the auxiliary line to the base line, the distance (d) of the auxiliary line from the origin (O) and the time interval of the pusle required and linked by the equation d = f. sin (B-d). - In the case of a vaster of screen lines of order i than X = Xi for i = 1, 2, 3.....etc. The correct pulse time is calculated by a logic circuit including a pulse generator, counted comparator, flip-flop and logic element.
