The suspension device for light screens or strip components has a blunt angled bent sheet and a fixture screw. The sheet (1) is bent twice so that the upper part (2) running vertically is fixed to the ceiling. Its central part (6) runs inclined and contains the threaded hole for the fixture screw (7). Its lower part (5) runs vertically and acts as a support for the vertically running strips (3). - The strip (3) is firmly clamped by the lower edge of the fixture screw (7) head. This head edge is sharp and presses into the strip. Alternatively, the screw head edge can be toothed, or the head itself can be arranged eccentrically in relation to the screw shaft.
