Component lead wires bending machine - uses toothed wheels to hold lead wires during movement past bending tools

The machine for bending the lead wires extending from either side of electrical components has two toothed gripping wheels holding the inner ends of the lead wires. Two further toothed wheels are positioned below the gripping wheels, receiving the lead wies after their movement past two bending tools at either side of the component. The two gripping wheels and the two further toothed wheels are mounted on parallel shafts, so that the two sets of wheels engage, to clamp the terminal leads between their interlocking teeth. Pref. the shaft supporting the further toothed wheels is spring loaded in the radial direction.
