The longitudinally preloaded composite pile is in sections. The enveloping tube of the pile is made from tubular, pre-fabricated shells which are preloaded section by section. The preload is imposed by exerting pressure on the topmost section. This shell is subsequently filled with concrete. The pile resist bending loads and prvents entry of moisture. - A tubular element is placed on a preloaded element already in the ground. The preloaded is applied by axial rods in verticle channels in tubular element wall. Cement mortar is subsequently pumped into the channels from which it is led into ground by radial holes.
