The drill (1) has a disc (6) carrying three pins (7) forming a supporting tripod fitted to its body by a clamp (19). The clamp has an eyelet (21) through which a guide rod (18) is slidingly fitted. The travel of the rod in the direction opposite to the drilling direction is limited by an adjustable stop lug (23). The disc (6) has a centre hole with a sleeve (9) accommodating a shaft (3) clamped by a chuck (4) of the drill. The shaft is fitted with fixed collar (11) at its end adjacent to the chuck. Between this collar and sleeve (9), a spring (12) is fitted, holding a disc (6) at such a distance from the drill body that the pins (7) project beyond the tip of cutting tool (16).
