Stacking equipment for flat, flexible workpieces - uses positioning links to spread workpieces and place them on stack from conveyor

Stacking equipment for flat work-pieces from a flexible material, esp. fabric pieces, includes an upwards and downwards movable stack support mounted on a base frame. The workpieces are brought over teh stacking support by a conveying equipment. The base frame supports positioning equipment with two positioning links. In their advanced position, the links receive the workpieces supplied by the conveying equipment in a position above the stack support. The positioning links spread the workpiece and place them on the stack by an opposite expanding movement during which they are moved apart and outwards over the base section of the stack. The workpieces are held down on the stack by a flat rod of a holder.
