The erection process is for multi-course reinforced-concrete bridges in sections freely built out, with forwarded fabricated concrete units and a moving appliance (4) comprising two course-length parallel carriers with travelling cranes on top. The carriers (5) deposit loads indirectly from above onto the completed superstructure (1) via movable transverse carriers; and are hinged lengthways to deliver them directly onto the next pier (3) via an outside support structure. All the superstructure sections on a double cantilever arm can be successively and contrinously moved, with the lengthways carriers maintaining a stationary position, and holding the superstructure so that it can be centrally mounted on the pier and freely rotatable about every axis.
