The coil consists of an inner winding part (5) impregnated with a cold hardening resin, on whose back insulating ventilating ribs (6, 6') are mounted. They hold at a distance an outer winding part (9). The pole coil is then, together with side insulation (4) pressure strips and front insulating spacing bars (7) impregnated with hot hardening resin and baked together with the pole core (1). The insulating spacer (6) has a U-shaped profile to enable it to retain the outer winding. The pole cores themselves are held inside a yoke ring which has flanges to match the edges of the poles.
