A support wheel (17) is fixed to the front end of each set of slide shoes (6, 7). The slide shoes are connected to each other by crosswise bars (11) which can be adjusted as to width and are fixed to the support arm (4) so as to pivot on a point (8). The foliage compressor (25) consists of a number of plates or parallel bars joined to the access end. Each of the two slide shoes (6, 7) has a double nozzle (20, 21) at the back end.
