The bricklaying or plaster finishing trowel has holding handle on its upper face. The tool is designed for reliable carrying of mortar without loss of dropping from the trowel. The trowel tip end has vertically raised side walls, with sloping edges which taper downwards towards the trowel tip. The side walls can be fixed and their edges can also taper downwards towards the handle end of trowel. These side walls can be held on a carrier bracket with springs and with a hinge with pivoting axis for adjusting the position of the side walls and placing it over trowel as an attachment.
