The controllable orbiting space satellite embodies two gyros set at 90 deg. to one another and mounted in gimbals (2, 3) for stabilisation. This system can be locked in and out, and is in turn mounted inside two sets of toothed rings (2, 0) at right angles to one another and meshing with gearwheels (2.1, 2.11) fixed in the body. By turning these wheels selectively the body can be rotated about the gyro system to point the propulsion (1.1), retardation (1.2) nozzles in any direction to change the satellite orbit.
