Three speaker loudspeaker cabinet - has HF and mid-frequency units mounted on common base plate with terminal block

The loudspeaker lay-out for the simplified construction of loudspeaker cabinets is based on a common mounting plate for two of the three loudspeaker units in the usual three-unit arrangement. The high-frequency unit and the mid-frequency unit are constructed on a common base plate with fixing holes in each corner. Alternatively, each speaker may have a separate mounting plate but of similar dimensions, esp. height to the other. In this case, the speakers are then fixed to a commn baffle board for mounting in the cabinet. The common mounting for the high- and mid-frequency units provides improved physical and acoustic characteristics and simplifies assembly when mounting them in conjuction with a low-frequency drive unit in the same cabinet.
