The analysing system for liquids has holders for several analysis vessels. These analysis vessel holders are stacked in store shafts, so that an occupied holder is lowered in one shaft, and an empty holder is lifted in another. A locking device is allocated to each shaft, which holds the holders (13) at a distance above one another, corresponding to the height of a holder. The horizontal distance between two vertical shafts corresponds to the length of a holder (13).
