The sealing disc for communicating cable coupling inlet ensures aligning of the cable which is then protected with a plastic compound. The provision of concentric rings (4) linked by radial arms (5) to the outer ring (2) allows adjustment for different sizes of cable to be centred in the bolted-upt cable joint. This is simply done by cutting out the unwanted rings to match the cable size. The disc is made of a flexible materials, such a polyolefin, and various types of moulds can be produced. As a result, the fitting is simplified and at the same time, retaining all rings ensures that the disc can be used as an end stop for the compound.
