Spot form initiation charge for hollow charges - has central narrow channel closed at one end for blast propagation

The initiation charge (2) has an axial channel (5) oriented in the propagation direction of its detonation wave front. This channel section area is not more than a few square millimetres. The channel end facig the initiating charge end (3) is closed and it is open towards the explosive charge (1). The central channel (5) is mounted with its opening (6) on the required initiation point (7) of the explosive charge. Pref. the channel (5) for the initial charge in the region of the opening (6) widens out into a coaxial space (10) for a further charge. This initiator is of simple design and highly reliable.
