Varying curve spiral staircase handrail - has sections with flexible connection between lengths fixed to balustrade supports

The handrail for a spiral staircase, borne on balustrade posts rising from the steps (6), is inexpensive, transportable and easily assembled. It comprises a number of separate, rigid, elongated pieces (2), each fixed to one or more balustrade posts (4), and with flexible connection (22) to one or more adjacent similar pieces. The flexible connection can be provided by a hollow plastic tube and an annular hole in an end of the elongated piece. Intervals are readily adjusted for adaption to surves.
