Saturated steam boiler plant - has additional firing exposed heating surface connectable with boiler water space or superheated steam outlet

The saturated steam generating plant is fitted with an additional heating surface exposed to firing, by which superheated steam can be produced or demand for appliances which are occasionally in operation and require superheated steam. The unit consists of a boiler (26) with drum (10) partly filled with water creating steam space (10a) and water space (10b). In the convection section additional heating surfaces (20a) and (20b) are fitted. The water space is fitted with piping leading to valve assembly (2) with throttle valve (M) and bypass. The top header of the heating surface (20a) has piping (13) terminating in the steam space of the boiler. Into the piping an injection cooling assembly is inserted. The second heating surface (20b) has on its top header connection (22) a steam outlet from which condensate piping (18) piping (14) and (16) are branching off. Piping (14) connects to the steam space of the boiler via valve assembly (3). Pipe (26) has valve assembly (1) and carries on as pipe (15) supplying the superheated steam to the appliances.
