Children's throwing-and-catching stick - has ribbed sides for easier catching and rubber-capped ends for safety

The throwing stick is round, ribbed for catching, and with rubber caps at the ends, to avoid accidents. Pref. it is 18 times as long as broad. The ribs, spaced at 25 mm centres, are 20 mm broad and 1/10 of the stick's dia. in depth. The stick is made of solid wood (ensity pref. 0.35-0.6 g/cm3) or as a hollow plastic tube (pref. soft PVC). The soft rounded rubber end caps are of 4 mm greater dia. than the stick, and each extends to 1/10 of the stick's length. The caps are pref. red, on a yellow stick.
