The holder and protective grip for out door sales of ice cream cornets consists of a support ring (5) for the cornet (3) and a grip (7) attached to the support ring (5) for holding the cornet (3) in finger of the hand. The support ring has a shape of a conical tubular section and is provided with stamped out hooks (21) for securing the cornet (3) in position. The holder and the grip are assembled from two symmetrical cardboard strips joined together at each end of the grip (7). Between the joints of the grip ends are located perforated folding lines, conically spaced apart upwards. Between the perforted folding lines are middle perforated folding lines.
