Record player with individual track selection - has adjustable microswitches to control pickup arm actuation for automatic single track playing facility

The record turntable is motor driven about an axis with a cam disc to provide the necessary motion of the pick-up arm. The arm is pivotted and carries a control arm for the selector mechanism. The selector has two quadrant gear tracks onto which are located adjustable supports for micro switches with actuating needles. As the pick-up arm swings away from the rest position, the control arm trips the first microswitch, and this causes the needle to be lowered onto the record. The selected track is played until the second microswitch is contacted to return the pick-up arm to the rest position.
