Absorption coil in tubular solar energy collector - has non-circular tube cross section with glass collector supported by flexible tube

The absorption coil fitted into a tubular glass collector ensures high solar energy absorption. The coil is kept away from the glass wall. No thermal stresses are generated due to differential expansion of glass or coil. The coil metal tube has star, delta or T cross section or other cross section shapes. A plastic tube is fitted to the profiled coil end with a clip. Alternatively a metal hose or bellows can be joined. The flexible tube can be held by star shaped holder and matching wire clip. The coil ends are held in position by spacing glass plates. Upper plate may be flatter than lower one for saving space.
