The tie bar for a parapet or external facing wall is esp. suitable for laying and concreting in formwork units, for subsequent application of claddings, balustrades etc. This involves a fixture plate with dowel plug holes for firmly holding plugs (20), inserted from the front, with conical axially displaceable clamping nuts (26). The threaded holes (27) in the latter can be sealed by a covering cap (28), and the plate has split-ended anchoring strips, or similar anchoring media, on the rear side. Subsequent cladding or balustrade installation is simplified, with no welding required on site.
