Timing device used on tennis courts - uses machine for dispensing markers to players controlled by timing circuits

The timing device may be used for charging for the period of occupancy of a tennis court by two players. There are markers (14) for the players. Each marker (14) bears the players name (32), written around a coloured central portion (34). The outer ring of the marker may be made of metal and the coloured centre may be made of plastics material. The times mechanism has two vertical channels through which the respective markers pass. The markers are dispensed like goods from a vending machine.
