The internal vibrator for compressing concrete and other compositions comprises a tubular housing (1, 2, 3) with a conical slide face (9) along the inner wall for the unbalanced block (6) which turns in a bearing (5). Near this bearing (5) is a slightly resilient area (7) preferably formed by a known bending shaft (8). The centre point of the block lies in the axial direction preferably centrally on the slide face (9) and in this way the load of the bearing containing the unbalanced block is considerably reduced. The conditions which are altered in respect of the radial movement of the unbalanced block allow simple low-priced sealing means to be used which nevertheless effectively seal the interior of the vibrator from grease.
