Sieve application nozzle for adhesive - has nozzle and piston with hollow piston rod for application of viscous material

The sieve application nozzle is for the application, in stripes, of low- to highly viscous materials, e.g. adhesive, etc. The nozzle consists of a nozzle body with a sieve or a similar element at the outlet and a sieve-like piston with piston rod having a bore, and a compression spring. Displacement of the nozzle body against the piston, or vice versa, against the sieve surface, causes the sieve apertures to be filled with material. Excess material moved by the piston is returned into the space between piston and nozzle body.
