Chip resistor prodn. system - with contact strips and resistive layer applied by rollers on supporting strip which is then baked and cut into individual resistors

The resistors consist of a plane rectangular support on which a resistive layer is applied between two contact strips which extend over the main strip sides to its other main surface. A long supporting strip (11) is provided with contact strips (2) by two rollers (6) and then with a resistive layer (3) by a roller (7). After drying and baking of contact strips and resistive layer (3), the supporting strip (11) is transversally cut into individual resistors. Resistive layer (3) is formed of glass or ceramic material.
