Automatic light control switch without wear exposed parts - has brightness control network in light system circuit using phase control for network switching regulated by resistor

The automatic control switch is intended for staircase lighting systems in blocks of flats, in order to change the lighting current during a preset switching time period. The circuit of the lighting system (1) contains a network of a brightness controller (2), switched into the circuit by phase control, regulated by a resistor responsive to time dependent, variable, physical magnitude. Preferably the resistor is formed by an optical coupler affected by a timing element (4). Alternately a thermally affected temperature dependent resistor may be used. The regulating may be also obtained by a magnetic field plate. If a variable resistor is used in the system it may be driven by a motor or by a clockwork.
