Filling mining cavities - using dil. aq. hydraulic binder or mortar suspension admixed with compsn. contg. solidification accelerator and thixotropic component

Process comprises conveying a dil. aq. suspension of hydraulic binder or hydraulically setting very fine mortar through pipe- or hose-conduits over large distances from an opt. underground mixing and pumping station, as far as the underground area of application. An activating compsn. is admixed to the suspension, near the cavities to be filled. Directly after leaving the conduit, the suspension is compacted to a thioxtropic compsn. and the solidification of the hydraulic binder or of the hydraulically solidifying mortar is accelerated. Shortly after onset of thixotropy, e.g. within seconds, the material starts to solidify to an artificial stone, which fills the cavity completely.
