The door hinge boring tool is for use in the preparation of hinge bolts and sockets or heavy clamping pins, particularly on automotive doors. An upper part (1) and a lower part (2) are displaceable towards each other, and are clampable on the mandrel (4) by a screw unit (11, 12). The hinge to be drilled is clamped between flange extensions (7, 8) of the upper and lower parts (1, 2), and the drill (14) is guided in the central and lower flange extensions. The drill is driven through an angular drive fitted on the end of the drill shaft projecting out of the lower part.
