Tanker wagon maintenance platform - has folding staircase with guide-rail for mechanism with overhead carrier roller and side support rollers

The working platform, esp. for maintenance work on tanker wagons in the chemical industry, has a folding staircase attached to it. The steps begin at platform height and are able to swivel about an axis of the same height. The platform (14) is fitted with a guide-rail (7) for a roller mechanism on the flight of stairs (1). This mechanism incorporates one or more carrier rollers (8) fitting onto the guide-rail from above, and one or more support rollers (9) fitting on the rail from the side of the stairs. Support rollers may have a spring, for pressure against the guide-rail, while the carrier roller is in the form of a cable roller with peripheral groove (11) embracing the guide rail.
