The instant picture camera has a lens frame as the objective lens. The dimensions of the frame corresponds to the film format (2). The camera uses a focal plane shutter (9). Alternatively, a liq. crystal shutter can be used that covers the whole of the lens frame surface. A rigid polarisation filter (12) and a rotatable one (4) to alter the penetration of light can be mounted in front of the lens frame (11). This latter arrangement enables a set shutter to be used in a cheaper version of the camera, the exposure being controlled by the filters.
